:icongawrilaghul:: Welcome to my humble show, :iconproductno49:!
Do you enjoy being here? :)
:iconproductno49:: Its kind of empty. No crowd or people, its nice.

:icongawrilaghul:: Did you just call our humble audience NON-PEOPLE? :hmm:
:iconproductno49:: Heh no of course not. I meant its unlike those shows on TV like Oprah, with hundreds of people watching the host and the guest. I would hate to be on one of those, but I doubt
Ill ever be on something like that anyways =P
this is more quiet, no cheering or applauding (or is there?)

:icongawrilaghul:: Well there most definitely won't be any live audience, people telling the live audience when to clap, canned laughter, commercial breaks, or other shit like that around here!
I hope there still will be some APPRECIATION in the end, though…
Does this answer your question and/or satisfy your absolutely justified HATE? :)

:iconproductno49:: Yes well I just like when people can talk to each other without any extravaganza or shows or fakery. I guess nowadays everything is for showing off something, even I am guilty of that sometimes. WHERE IS THE HUMBLESS FOR FUCKS SAKE!? Its like every piece of turd is sugar coated with layers of cream and a cherry on top. But at the end of the day, when its all alone by itself, its nothing but a sad little turd.

:icongawrilaghul:: Is humbleness the worst form of arrogance? :)
:iconproductno49:: I dont know I never thought about it that way. I guess that is only true when someone tries to show just how humble they are.
I think there is real humbleness only when the person doesnt try to be humble or to show humbleness, when its not even part of the person or even a consideration. When someone knows that their talent is "given" to them but at the same time can be taken away if its squandered or taken for granted.. I think life sort of teaches someone to be humble, after pride gets broken down several times. Most people want to be big and famous, me I want to remain small and almost invisible.

but anyways didnt you welcome me to you very "Humble" show in the beginning? ;)

:icongawrilaghul:: Exactly. But hey, we're not talking about ME, we're talking about YOU!
So like, during the past seven years YOU spent on dA, how successful have you actually been in remaining INVISIBLE? :)
:iconproductno49:: Haha  Very successful indeed! DA doesnt seem to care much for the art that I do. But maybe im just not active enough. Im soon going to abandon all these depressing drawings that I do and going the hentai way with furries and pokemanz!

:icongawrilaghul:: Before you do, just share some stories about them depressing drawings of yours, please!
:thumb167088599:   :thumb359821766:   :thumb158259478:   :thumb384862188:
Also, why did you choose just that username? :)

:iconproductno49:: Well I guess I had some states of depression for years, but sometimes its not there and I still have some depressing or dark imagery that comes to my mind.
:thumb167088599:

This one was done at a time when I just wasnt feeling very good, I wasnt the most loving person at that time if you see what I mean. I guess the idea was something like how would we react if we were the victims of slaughter and not the animals. Why is it more disturbing when it is so? I generally like exploring paradoxical or twisted themes.
:thumb359821766:

This one was inspired by a song of the same title www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DnvhY…, the lyrics gave me the image. I generally get an image in my head just by a certain title or an idea or a sound. Rarely out of nowhere.

:thumb158259478:
Well this is an old one. Not to sound misanthropic or anything, but this was something about cleansing the earth from the human plague :meow: But ironically somehow humans will manage to do it themselves.

:thumb384862188:
This one is probably one of my personal favorites. I got some sort of vision when I was meditating; of a kind of structure full of humans and it was moving and turning as well. Afterwards I felt like drawing what I saw in this sort of state. Of course I had to add some symbolic elements to the image, because even I didn't understand where it came from or what it meant. I had some really amazing imagery that flash into my mind when I was meditating, sometimes even dreams give inspiration. But a lot of times its in music or just taking a long walk that I find my ideas.

And now the question I dreaded to be asked. my username? I guess its some sort of wannabeclever teenager username rebelling from society. The number 49 had something to do with some guy in my class with a heavy spanish accent who pronounced it in a funny way when he got 49% as a grade, it became his "teasing-name" which I abused on him. It holds true until today if I mention it to him.

:icongawrilaghul:: No.1: Have you ever slaughtered something yourself? :stab:
No.2: Is there any kind of music that particularly inspires you?
No.3: Did you say MEOW here for a specific reason? :meow:

No.4: Do you know the short story by :iconclivebarker:, In the hills, the cities?
No.49: Why are we PRODUCTS, at all? :hmm:

:iconproductno49:: 1. No in general I really love animals, even some humans :meow:. But ive seen many times as a child in my country(
lebanon) animals being slaughtered very brutally for sacrificial religious purposes. I remember also in russia(also my country) as a child, a decapitated rooster running in circles. But when I was 4, I did kill once by accident a little chicken when I put money in its paws and sent it flying from the 4th floor to buy me candy and chips. It never came back :(
2. I used to listen to a lot of black metal before, I still do but not as much. Now its more varied, really almost anything, even Justin Bieber. But I like ambient music as well or something that has an atmosphere to it, stuff from Burzum, Vinterriket, Blut Aus Nord, Xasthur. Its good when there is a mystery or something hidden in a piece of art, then your imagination will overwork in that empty space of unknown and summon something out from it, mostly unexpected even to you. Thats one part of being an artist that I like, is you cant predict what ideas will come to you.

3. I like this meow icon, when you're cute you can escape with anything. Even genocide. :meow:
4. Funny you mention Clive Barker, cause I watched Hellraiser yesterday. But no I have no idea of that story,
Ill read it later(maybe)
49. <_<

:icongawrilaghul:: Tell us about your current EXHIBITION! :thumb431742860::thumbsup:
:iconproductno49:: Well its my very first, I guess its not really how I wanted it to be. But first times are always kinda meh.
The place itself is cool its a venue for concerts and live shows, its just that its dark. But the good thing is that it was free for me. And at the same time, now that I look at the drawings I wish I could paint on a much bigger canvas, because on a small 11X14 paper it doesnt give the feeling I want it to give, a lot of work and detail goes unnoticed to people. Im just a bit dissapointed that people dont pay much attention to visual art, its more to music and fancy movies with robots and explosions.. But this wont be my last exhibition, ill work on something better someday.
But painting for me now is almost an impossibility, since it takes a lot more time and budget. Plus im busy working on a short film, that I hope will be realized someday. Maybe when im older and im more relaxed, ill be painting.

:icongawrilaghul:: So what are your expectations for your SHORT FILM :thumb373868629:?
Are there any robots and explosions in it? :)
:iconproductno49:: Actually this one was already finished in may 2013, it was for my graduation. here it is www.youtube.com/watch?v=abPNEQ…

The one im working on with a friend of mine is gonna be very different also much longer and more complex. Not sci-fi more like mystical and psychological. There definitely wont be any robots, but there will be explosions in your head when you see it.

:icongawrilaghul:: After watching the one above, I must admit that I'm curious for that!
Just like… How much longer exactly do you plan it to be, when saying "much longer?"
Because I really liked the one above, but it still happened to end just a bit too sudden for my taste… Has this something to do with it being meant just for graduation, or is there a deeper meaning to it? :)

:iconproductno49:: Im glad you enjoyed it :) It was quite a lot of work, especially because it was my first short film ever.
Well, actually the time limit they gave us was to do 1 minute of animation, i tried to make it as long as possible. I guess there are some meanings to the film, but I like more when people interpret their own way rather than mine.
this film one was about 2 minutes, the one we are working on is going to be between 6 minutes to 15 minutes.
Unlike live action where you just film real life, in 3d you have to create every little piece of detail every piece of movement, it takes a lot more time but at the same time you have control over everything....And at the same time, you're spending uncounted amounts of time in front of a computer, so your health is going kaput as well, like my cracking wrist and fingers.

Also having no social life or facebook helped me a lot in being productive :iconbadluckbrianplz:

:icongawrilaghul:: About creating every little piece yourself in 3d, is the process itself rather interesting (in the good sense), or rather boring? Also, will we be able to see that new one on some FESTIVALS, then…?
:iconproductno49:: Well there are many aspects to it a lot of the more artistic aspects are interesting, there is also a lot of technical redundant and painfully boring things too, in some cases I can just watch a movie and work at the same time.
Sometimes there are mistakes that happen and it can take a lot of time to correct them, sometimes I just restart from zero. There are also times when you computer just cant handle the amount mega-hurts on screen, so it makes working sometimes impossible. Theres also nothing like the feeling when you've worked on something for hours and you forgot to save, and then...boom. it crashes and you lost everything you worked on.
As for the festival, the first film I did, I sent it to a festival in
Canada but it got rejected. But this time, the major purpose of this film im working on is to send it to festivals worldwide hopefully, but the film itself is far far from done.

:icongawrilaghul:: Do you use any special strategies while making the new film, due to that purpose?
Also, what does this actually mean for your future dA activity?
:iconproductno49:: The only strategy I can think of in order to send it to festivals, is just doing quality material that I myself would enjoy looking at. Normally, if I didnt care much I would do the sound effects and stick some music from youtube into the film, but this time we're hoping to get a composer to create the sound and music. So its really all about getting it wrapped, making it complete in all production aspects. But this is all words for now, I just hope it goes as planned, its probably going to take around a year to complete I think just because im busy with other things too.

The only thing that motivates me now to work on it is the script and the story behind it, but there will be no dumbing down or selling out just to get it to festivals if that was what you meant. Hopefully I can make a career someday as some sort of independent filmmaker.. I watch films like people eat popcorn =P
What does it mean for my future dA activity?? jesus, i dont know. I doubt much will change, ill still be posting artwork from time to time. And hopefully promote the film once its done.

:icongawrilaghul:: Yes, that was just what I meant! And as long as it won't make you just another :iconfuckbookplz: person in the end, this all sounds quite cool and exciting in my book!
So with that said… Do you have any other last words left, for our noble audience? :)

:iconproductno49:: Hehe, well im just oozing with humbleness and modesty for that to happen or to sell out.
Well thank you very much most humble host, I am extremely humbled by this appearance on your humblizing show and I really enjoyed it. =D

As for our most noble audience, I'd like to thank those who supported me and gave feedback on my work. And for those reading through these fascinating words, its almost over dont worry...
To those struggling artists out there, dont give up you're not the only ones, dedicate yourselves and persevere. All artists are like stray dogs without a home we all have to carve our own way through this, even a plumber had to start somewhere but he learned to dedicate himself to his dream

I'd also like to mention some fellow deviants for the support and feedback they gave me :iconsidh-art: :iconramkumariyer: :iconscheinlicht: :iconapiarona:

Well that is all. :)

:icongawrilaghul:: Ladies and gentlemen, :clap::iconproductno49:!
