i like 'Escape the Light most f all.why? Ok,i'll try to answer as short as i can.1st of all it a fake: its in artisic nude category but actually i wasnt nude when i took that picture.i ADORE fakes.and masks.i've got so many of them that i even forgot how my one and only face looks like.and the other reason is my personal philosophy which is expressed by the title of this sellf-portrait

nothing new or special about it, i dont think you'll be amazed or surprised or anything like that, but Ok light is usually associated with good things but it reveals ugliness of the world, too. so, as Dio sang,"its better in the dark". thats it
: What does this actually mean, for your PHOTOGRAPHY?
: as i've already said before, i adore fakes.so i often turn a bright day(which is actually the best condition for taking pictures for me and my camera because i'm not that good photographer) into a mystical twillight or give a specific dark sinister mood to an ordinary object or a place.a photo looks more...significant(can i say so?) after that,it gains the ability to tell the story instead of being only a beautiful(and sometimes not that beautiful) picture
: Well if you don't mind me saying so, those "fakes" you make actually belong to what I consider the very best of "photography" in all of dA...
But alright, so what's the deal with you and FAKES, anyway?
Does it mean you do think of yourself rather as a STORYTELLER?

yes,i guess thats the word.but not in its whole sense.a
picture tells a story instead of me,i only give it a certain mood
: If, for example, the ones featured above, could talk, what do you think they would say?
: the 1st one is called Breath of the Dead.when seeing a bird on a corpse i have a weird feeling that its a soul went out of this dead body feeding on its own carcass.lets say, everything told above is left below,unseen
the 2nd one is Pinkmail.for me this tree,almost dead(almos, because still standing straight and tall)and about to be hacked, growing alone next to the row of alive healthy ones embodies the doomed (or just antisocial) person facing others as if they were from a different world
the 3d one's title is Morpheus.you can see this word on the corner of the building in the picture.the story would be about the city whose dwellers all are deep in the eternal sleep but when the dusk falls a treveller can meet their souls living the ordinary life of their owners dreaming in their beds
now the last one,Red Lights.i think, this one would tell us a story about someone like Jack the Ripper and his victims
: Do you think there lies some special poetry, within URBAN SETTINGS?
: for sure! otherwise how can one explain that special fascination and sometimes even uncertain awe we feel walking through the streets which generation of our predecessors would tread?

: now here comes a paradox: in spite of my love for such places where history dwells i'm not interested in history itself.maybe its all about school days: you know, learning dates and everything.all i can say,i adore ancient paganism and hippie times but nothing more certain history in my mind is a huge tangle of multi-coloured barbed wire-sorry

About your PERCEPTION OF PEOPLE?
: hard question for an antisocial one like me.i prefer being alone but since i'm forced to be involved into social life i should cope with that i can communicate well only when i have alcohol
its hard to get close enough to me.but people are curious creatures: i like watching,listening to them.the most interesting fact about most of them is the seriousness they play their social roles with (do i use the word "social" too often?

What do you FAITH is (not) good for?
: i meant faith as a belief in god,a supreme being who's actually another toy in the game of grown-up children.its important not to overplay: when a child get sure thet his doll's alive it scares him at night.not really a problem for me because i try not to take anything too seriously.i've always been playing an actor playing an actor so once i decided to pretend a believer but thats not mine at all,Christianity and stuff like that.god is only the instinct of self-preservation while Satan represents others.but i really love paganism.an idea of being a part of nature and nature itself has always attracted me.maybe,its our ancestors whispering spirit inside me

well,i read only The Little Prince so i cant say much.but you know, living on an own separate planet,growing roses (or other armed flowers-it depends) is what i actually have been doing for all my life

: everything that i love: a pine wood,a big lake,lots of crows,a supermarket selling alcohol and a rock bar and an army of cactuses if you're asking about arms

i see a left-handed cold-palmed woman living around the corner in a "left-handed" city full of primal fears and breathtaking wonders. actually all but hidden behind our eyes(mirrors themselves to someone else),inner qualities of the real world we refuse or lost the ability to accept.its like changing an angle of sight to see things better or turning a picture you are drawing upside down for the same purpose.

: no matter whose birthday is for its another occasion to have a couple of drinks,especially for the health of such a respectable guy as Mr.J.C. seriously,as an atheist i'm totally indifferent to Christmas though i always send greetings to the friends to whom this holiday means something.
